The most beautiful boat made by Giuliano Arcangeli is the Commander, totally 25 ships built and this one is # 22.  There are only five Commanders still known excisting.

Experts in shipbuilding find the Commander one of the most beautiful wooden boats with a great line and is comparable to the Riva Ariston

The with the Riva competive Arcangeli yard could not reach the number of sold boats like Riva did, this was not comparing to the boats as well to the marketing which was heavy with Riva next to them.

Giuliano Arcangeli's son has now the Centro Nautico yard in Salo at the Lake Garda.  They are specialised in restorations of wooden boats and rental and maintenance of Riva's.   So this Commander # 22 has found his way home now.
